1. Who we are
This policy explains how Citizen Umbrella Manufacturers Limited ("Citizen", "we", "us") collects and uses your personal information when you use citizenactivegear.com (the "Website") or buy from us. Our address is Survey No. 43/P1 & 43/P3/P2, Ghimsa Kankariya, Village Sanjan, Umbergaon, Valsad, Gujarat, India.
2. Information we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, and order details when you place an order, request a return or cancellation, or contact us.
- Messages and files you send us: your messages, and any photos or videos you share with a return request or query.
- Payment information: online payments are processed by our payment and checkout providers on their own systems. If you choose Cash on Delivery, no payment details are collected at checkout. For COD refunds we ask for your bank account or UPI ID through a secure payout link.
- Information collected automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and the page that referred you, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use it
We use your information to process and deliver your order, send order updates and tracking links by email and WhatsApp, handle cancellations, returns and refunds, answer your questions, keep the Website secure and prevent fraud, understand how the Website is used, and measure and improve our advertising.
4. Cookies and tracking
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. These help the store work, remember your cart, and let us and our advertising partners, such as Meta (Facebook) and Google, measure visits and show relevant ads. Our Website also uses Shopify's analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad personalisation in your Meta and Google account settings. The Website may not work fully if you block all cookies.
5. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with: our courier and logistics partners (your name, phone number and address, to deliver and collect parcels); our payment and checkout providers; Shopify, which hosts the Website; and analytics and advertising partners as described above. We may also share information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to fulfil your order, handle returns and refunds, keep accounting records and meet legal requirements, and then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw a consent you gave us, by writing to orders@citizenactivegear.com. We will respond as required by applicable Indian law. Deleting some information may stop us from completing an order or return.
8. Children
The Website is meant for adults. Many of our products, such as school bags, are bought by parents and guardians for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us their information, write to us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This policy covers this Website only. Links to other websites, and the advertising and payment partners named above, are governed by their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
